Frequently Asked Questions

What is your average response time to an alarm?

Although response times vary due to traffic and weather conditions, our average Boston response time is 9.66 minutes.

Does EPS respond without the Police and Fire departments?

EPS will respond to burglar alarms with or without the Police; the Police are required on all hold-up alarms. The fire department is required on all general fire signals, but EPS can investigate trouble signals alone.

Is full payment required in advance?

No. EPS will invoice you for monthly for all charges.

Are contract riders require?

All contract riders are optional.

What type of pre-employment screening is performed on all employees?

Criminal record checks as well as a seven year employment history and personal reference verification.

What type of training do your employees undergo?

All patrol officers receive 80 hours of classroom and field training. Alarm response officers receive additional training, specific to their duties.

Can EPS respond without keys?

Although our key holder service allows a complete investigation, EPS will, at the clients' request, respond without keys.
